Bus Ministry

We’ll bring them to club.

Children of God Ministries is a bus ministry. We run buses and vans through the Peoria area to pick up children and bring them to children’s ministry, then take them safely home afterward. Transportation pickup begins shortly after 5:00 PM, and club runs 6:30–8:00 PM on Wednesday nights.

Why We Drive

Many children would never get to hear about Jesus if someone didn’t go and get them. Our buses are how we reach kids who otherwise couldn’t come — removing the transportation barrier so every child has the chance to hear the Gospel, memorize God’s Word, and be part of a caring community.

Safety First

Parental permission is required for any child to ride, and children must be at least 5 years old to ride the buses. When you register your child, we’ll go over everything you need to know about pickup, drop-off, and what to expect each week.

How Pickup Works

On club days our drivers begin their routes shortly after 5:00 PM, winding through neighborhoods across the Peoria area to gather children for the evening. Each child is picked up from an agreed location, brought safely to children’s ministry for the 6:30–8:00 PM program, and returned home the same night. Parents always know the pickup point, the schedule, and who is driving.

Our Drivers & Volunteers

Behind every route is a team of dedicated, screened volunteers who give up their Wednesday evenings to make sure no child is left without a ride. They’re trained on safety procedures, route logistics, and how to care for the children entrusted to them. For many kids, the friendly face at the bus door is the first part of feeling welcomed and loved each week.

A Bridge to Every Neighborhood

The bus ministry is the heart of how we reach children who would otherwise have no way to come. Many of the kids we serve have no other transportation to club — without the bus, they simply couldn’t be there. Every route we run is another neighborhood reached and another group of children who get to hear the Gospel, memorize Scripture, and belong to a caring community.
