Children of God Ministries (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and text-message program, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you complete our Member Information & Permission Form or contact us, we may collect the information you provide, such as parent/guardian and child names, mailing address, email address, phone/mobile number, birthday, grade, allergies, shirt size, and emergency contact details. We collect this information only to operate our children’s ministry, bus/club program, and related communications.

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages, we send updates about transportation (bus/van pickup & drop-off times, delays, and route or location changes) and event reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of participation in any program.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or text-messaging opt-in information with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely to deliver the messages you request from Children of God Ministries. No mobile opt-in data is shared with third parties except service providers that help us send messages on our behalf, and only as needed to provide that service.

Mobile Information & Text Messaging

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, only with third parties that help us provide our messaging services (such as our messaging platform provider and phone carriers), and only as needed to deliver the text messages you have requested. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for any other purpose.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to: enroll children in our programs; communicate with parents and guardians; coordinate transportation and activities; respond to emergencies; and, with your separate consent, send text-message updates and use photos/video for ministry publicity.

How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable measures to safeguard the information we collect and limit access to it to leaders and volunteers who need it to operate the ministry.

Photo & Video

With your consent on the permission form, we may use photographs and video for publicity, promotional, and educational purposes. A child’s first name may accompany a photo, but no last name or address will be included. You may opt out of photo/video use on the permission form.

Your Choices

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may request that we update or remove your family’s information by contacting us at the number or email below.
