Pointing children in the Peoria area to Jesus — one Wednesday night at a time.
Welcome to Children of God Ministries! We are a 501(c)(3) organization based in Washington, IL, whose primary goal is to teach young people across the Peoria area about God and His love. Our goal is to see children live their lives serving God, placing their faith in Him for their eternal destiny, and having success in life doing things God’s way. We teach that God’s Word has the answers for all of life’s questions, and that following the guidebook of the Bible in life equals true success.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our guide for life. We teach children that God loves them, that Jesus Christ died and rose again to save them from sin, and that they can place their faith in Him for eternal life. Everything we do points children to Jesus.
We want to see children live their lives serving God, place their faith in Him for their eternal destiny, and find true success doing things God’s way. We strive each week to share as much of God’s Word as possible through preaching, Bible memory time, and weekly devotional sheets that help children build the habit of daily being in God’s Word.
Wednesday night is our main ministry night, but it doesn’t stop there. On a limited basis we also provide pickup for Sunday morning Sunday school and church. As children grow in Christ, we add Sunday as an option — another opportunity to grow in God’s Word and be part of the family.
