Children of God Ministries Text Message Program — Last updated: July 2, 2026

Children of God Ministries ("CoGM," "we," "us") offers a text message program that sends transportation updates (bus/van pickup and drop-off times, delays, and route or location changes) and event reminders, and supports one-to-one conversational replies with parents and guardians.

1. Opting In

You opt in to the program by taking an affirmative action on one of our forms:

  • Online: completing the Member Information & Permission Form at https://cogmkc.org/form/, checking the optional SMS-consent checkbox, and providing your mobile number in the optional phone field; or
  • Paper: completing the same checkbox and optional mobile-number field on the printed Member Information & Permission Form and signing it.

Providing a mobile number and consenting to text messages is never required — consent is not a condition of participation in any Children of God Ministries program. After you opt in, we send one confirmation text message.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on transportation schedules and upcoming events.

3. Cost

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan. Children of God Ministries does not charge for this program.

4. Opting Out

Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to any message at any time. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent.

5. Help

Reply HELP (or INFO) to any message, email [email protected], or call 309-481-8100.

6. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Privacy
