LIFE HAS A MANUAL

Everything good comes with instructions. A game has a tutorial. A phone has a setup guide. And the God who made you gave you a manual for life: the Bible.

But the Bible is not just a manual. It is God's invitation to know Him.

The Best Life Possible

Every one of us is building a life.

We make decisions about family, work, right and wrong, relationships, and our future.

The question is...

Are we trying to figure it all out ourselves?

Or are we willing to listen to the One who made us?

We can spend our lives trying to figure everything out on our own, or we can learn from the One who made us in the first place.

The Bible gives us something better. It is God's Word from the One who made us, knows us, and loves us enough to tell us the truth. God does not give His Word to make life smaller. He gives it so we can know Him, trust Him, and live the life we were made to live.

The best life possible is not a life without problems. It is a life with God: forgiven through Jesus Christ, guided by His Word, helped by His Spirit, and given a purpose that lasts beyond this world.

So if God gave you the manual, why not open it? Why keep trying to figure life out on your own when the One who made you is inviting you to know Him?

The Message

The Bible says a lot about how to live. But before it teaches you how to live, it tells you something more important: who you can become.

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"John 1:12 (KJV)

A child of God. That is what the Maker of the universe wants you to be. Here is how the manual explains it, step by step.

God Loves You

You are not an accident. God made you, and He loves you more than anyone ever has or ever will.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."John 3:16 (KJV)

"Whosoever" means anyone. It means you.

The Manual says... God loves you.

The Problem

Here is the honest part. Every one of us has done wrong. The Bible calls that sin, and sin is the reason life feels broken.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"Romans 3:23 (KJV)
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."Romans 6:23 (KJV)

A wage is what you earn. A gift is what someone pays for and hands to you. Sin earns death. But God offers a gift.

The Manual says... we have all sinned.

The Solution

God did not wait for us to clean ourselves up. He sent His Son.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."Romans 5:8 (KJV)

Jesus lived a perfect life, the life we could not live. He died on the cross to pay for our sins, the debt we could not pay. He willingly took our place. And three days later He rose from the dead, proving He is God and that death is defeated.

You cannot earn this.
You can only receive it.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

(Grace means God giving us good we did not earn. Faith means trusting Him.)

The Manual says... Jesus paid the penalty for your sin.

Your Response

Not by being good enough. Not by church attendance. By faith: trusting Jesus Christ alone to save you.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."Romans 10:9 (KJV)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."Romans 10:13 (KJV)

Talking to God does not require memorizing a prayer. If you are placing your faith in Christ, your own words may be different. This is simply an example of what that faith might sound like:

"God, I know I have sinned. I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I am trusting Him alone to save me. Thank You for making me Your child. Amen."

It is not the words that save you. It is Christ. If you just put your faith in Jesus, the Bible says you are now a child of God:

"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus."Galatians 3:26 (KJV)

If you have ever seen one of our buses with Galatians 3:26 painted on the side, now you know why. We want every child and every adult to know they can become a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Manual says... believe on Christ.

Now What?

1. Tell someone. Tell us! We'd love to celebrate with you and encourage you as you begin your walk with Christ.

2. Find a Bible-believing church. God never intended for us to follow Him alone. Find a church that faithfully teaches the Bible where you can grow, worship, and serve alongside other believers. If we can help you find one, we'd be glad to.

3. Start reading God's Word. Begin with the Gospel of John. It was written so that you might know who Jesus is and believe in Him.

"But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."John 20:31 (KJV)

4. Keep growing. The Christian life is not just a one-time decision; it's the beginning of a lifelong relationship with God. Spend time with Him in prayer, read His Word, and continue growing in your faith. As we add more Bible studies and resources, we hope you'll come back and continue exploring God's Word with us.
